I’m a storyteller, outdoorsman, traveler, martial artist, yogi, musician, and freelance journalist based in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

At Emerson College, I received a master’s in magazine publishing and writing. I focus on reporting and crafting longform narratives with an aim to connect and inspire, to plumb the layers of the human experience as well as to entertain. I’m inclined to explore beyond the topical and become deeply immersed in whatever I’m reporting. The thrill of digging through a story’s strata to discover its gems and truths enlivens me. My stories tend to live at the outdoorsy crossroads of adventure, the natural world, and the human condition.
